Which SketchUp versions does it run on?

SketchUp 2024, 2025 and 2026 on Windows are the official target. It also loads on 2021-2023, but those are not the tested target. The code targets Ruby 3.2 while staying Ruby 2.7-compatible - a scan over 64 files with tools/check_ruby27.rb keeps it that way - and it installs as a normal RBZ (dist/ufuksen_aquapark_studio_v0.2.0.rbz). Panel and menus are TR/EN, with a switch inside the dialog.

How is it priced and licensed?

35 USD is a suggested one-time price, not a subscription and not a per-render fee - and because the extension is at 0.2.0 alpha, that figure is not final yet. What you generate is yours: the SKP geometry, the themed materials and the TXT report go into your own commercial work with no strings attached. Presets you save stay local, under %APPDATA%/AquaParkStudio.

What are the honest limits before I buy?

The project states them itself. Phases 1-14 are complete and 94 tests pass, but in-SketchUp manual testing is still pending, so this is an alpha. A large site (120x80) can take around 10 s to solve and 30-60 s to build at MEDIUM LOD. Circulation lanes are sometimes skipped on concave sites, slide intersection checking is sampled and coarse, and there is no real SKP asset library yet - components are procedural placeholders. It is a concept design tool: the report is not an official capacity or safety certificate.

Site input four ways - a selected face, the two-corner tool, the polygon tool, or width x length typed into the panel. Everything lands under one AQUAPARK_nnn root group with 15 category subgroups.
Layout engine is pure Ruby and touches no geometry: setbacks, entry edge and tier analysis, a program table per size class (micro/small/medium/large/xl), zone solver, candidate placement with SAT collision and clearance checks, tower-plus-landing-pool pairing, port-to-anchor slide planning, network circulation and a 6-criteria score with seeded variations.
9 pool shapes (rectangle, rounded rectangle, oval, kidney, organic, lagoon, circle, wave, freeform) with coping, steps, zero-entry beach and landing anchors - activity, kids, splash, relax, landing, wave, infinity and zero-entry programmes - plus a lazy river built as an organic closed loop with minimum-radius enforcement, islands, bridges and entry steps.
Slides are C1-continuous by construction: fillet-based centrelines (entry into helix, S-curve or arc, then a smoothed Z profile), twist-free level frames, swept tube/U/wide/multi-lane sections, seam flanges, support columns and arms, stripes and bolts at HIGH detail. 14 types from mini_slide to freefall, kamikaze and speed slides; racing 4 lanes, multi-lane 6.
Towers assemble themselves: columns, multi-level platforms, cross-bracing, port-cut railings, fully parametric switchback stairs (riser, tread, landing, handrail) and 7 theme roof forms across 6 tower classes, each with its own allowed slide list and a paired landing pool.
Scale Tool rebuild - an EntityObserver on the root group reads the scale out of the transformation matrix, rescales the site polygon, re-rigidifies the transform and chains regeneration into the same operation, so one Ctrl+Z undoes it and components keep their real size instead of stretching.
18 themes over a 29-role material palette. Switching theme updates material colours, theme props and tower roofs without regenerating pool, slide or deck geometry, and any role can be overridden with #rrggbb in the MATERIALS tab.
60+ component catalogue mixing procedural items with reused ComponentDefinition/ComponentInstance objects behind a definition cache, an SKP+JSON asset loading API, anchors, smart REPLACE of similar components and a single-component placement tool. 14 rule-based presets (hotel_mini, kids, family, compact_resort, medium_resort...) store theme, target, density, zone percentages and options rather than fixed models; your own presets save to %APPDATA%/AquaParkStudio with auto-generated isometric thumbnails.
Three LOD levels - live preview at LOW, GENERATE HIGH DETAIL for full bolts and stripes - and a report of areas, zone distribution, counts and the equipment/component list, copied to clipboard or saved as TXT. The engine works in metres and converts to inches only when writing into SketchUp.
The test suite runs entirely without SketchUp against an API stub with no method_missing (94 tests, 15 suites, all green) and the tests enforce the project's own rules: no eval, Marshal.load, instance_eval(string), WebDialog or globals; no magic numbers outside core/configuration.rb; every new JS key present in both tr.rb and en.rb; CHANGELOG version matching version.rb.
