Which SketchUp versions does it run on?

SketchUp 2021 through 2026, on the Ruby 2.7, 3.1 and 3.2 runtimes those versions ship with. The .rbz installs into every version on the machine, and at start-up FloorStudio checks 10 host APIs by name; the Diagnostics window shows you which profile it detected. The full six-version manual test pass is still in progress, so Self Test is there to confirm the state on your own install before you lay a floor.

How is it licensed - one payment or a subscription?

One payment, one user, no subscription and no per-project fee. Install it on the SketchUp versions you actually use on your own machines - 2021 to 2026 side by side is fine - and v3.x updates are included. There is no licence server and no phone-home: the plugin runs entirely offline, so nothing about your model leaves your computer.

How big a floor can it take, and what is not in yet?

Above 20,000 tiles it asks for confirmation; 100,000 tiles or 120,000 pattern polygons is a hard stop, and preview draws the first 1,800 so the dialog stays responsive. It works on one selected face at a time, with a 1 mm minimum board size, and a tile that fails to build is skipped and counted rather than killing the run. Export today is CSV only - the PDF cut sheet is the next item. The interface is in English and Turkish, switched from the window header.

13 built-in patterns - Wood Straight, Stack Bond, Running Bond 1/2, 1/3 and 1/4, Diamond 45 degrees, Hexagon, Herringbone single, double and triple, Chevron, Basket Weave 2x2 and Ladder - with a live preview that refreshes 750 ms after your last change, or stays off if you prefer.
Grout X and Grout Y are entered independently as real physical dimensions and stay physical, next to board length, width, thickness, rotation and fit-to-area.
A pure-2D Ruby clipping core sorts every tile into inside, outside or actually cut, so SketchUp's intersect_with boolean only runs on pieces that truly cross a boundary: 60-100x fewer add_line calls and 3-4x fewer booleans on complex polygon rooms in v3.2.1.
Boards are clipped to the real room outline and to interior holes - stairwells, shafts, columns - and the classifier is verified against a brute-force reference over 4 room geometries with 4,000 random tiles each.
Optional true bevel on the top edges with adjustable bevel width and segment count, falling back to PushPull on hosts where Group#manifold? is not available.
Seeded randomisation of length, width, height, colour tone from a 32-variant reusable palette and a 0/180 degree wood-grain flip, plus material mode, a specific material, a random-material name filter and material on the side faces.
UV engine with real UV placement: texture aligned to each board's long axis, random per-piece texture origin, random texture scale, base UV scale % and scale range %.
Quantity take-off reports net room area, tile area, grout area, full/cut/total piece counts, waste allowance %, suggested tile count and box count, grouping similar pieces by size tolerance - exported as semicolon-separated UTF-8 BOM CSV.
Guard rails you can see: confirmation above 20,000 tiles, hard stop at 100,000, a 120,000 pattern-polygon ceiling, 1,800 tiles in preview and a 1 mm minimum board; a single failing tile is skipped and reported instead of aborting the run.
Self Test and Diagnostics windows report the detected SketchUp profile and Ruby version (2.7 / 3.1 / 3.2), check 10 host APIs by name, and show preview lock, tile limits, clipping-core self check and skipped-tile count; 163 automated tests run green.
