  1. 01

    Draw Once.

Start point, width, Z height. Three left clicks and the window is dressed — pleats, rail, brackets, rings — in a single undo step.

  2. 02

    Change Anytime.

The curtain stays parametric. Right-click, edit settings, and it rebuilds in place — new fullness, new heading, new rail, same spot.

  3. 03

    Measure Automatically.

Fabric m² and 80+ hardware lines, room by room — measured as you model, exported as Excel-ready CSV and a printable quote.

  • Three left clicks build it: start point, then width, then Z height, and the curtain generates as a single undoable SketchUp operation. Shift locks the inferred point, arrow keys lock red/X, green/Y or blue/Z, Esc steps back a click.
  • 19 parametric models in 5 families (drape, roller/tiered, folding/cellular, vertical/lateral, natural/special) - 19 build methods in the geometry core, all 19 confirmed by the real-SketchUp smoke test.
  • Nothing is baked: select a curtain, right-click > PerdeNese Studio > edit settings, and the group is rebuilt in place inside one undo step.
  • Bulk mode curtains every selected vertical window face at once - width, height and room side are measured per face, and the whole batch lands in a single undo step.
  • Heading and rail catalogues: 6 pleat types with measured top amplitude (67/37/23/13/3 mm), 5 rails (KS track 14 mm, aluminium 28 mm, decorative 62 mm, wooden cornice 45 mm, rustic pole with finials, rings and wall brackets), half and closed cassettes, cornice boxes, and 3 detail levels (Fast / Balanced / Organic+, 8-18 segments per fold).
  • Live fabric take-off in m2 - opening, sheer, main/technical, accent and total cut area - driven by fullness, overlap, roll allowance, puddle and your own waste percentage; physical panel, slat and vane thickness 0.2-5.0 mm, minimum size 50 mm.
  • 80+ hardware line items in metres and pieces: tubes, side plates, chains, tube motors, ZIP channels, battens, rings, carriers, tilt rods, ladder cords, end caps and brackets at 300-800 mm spacing (500 mm default).
  • Quote output for the whole model, grouped by room: UTF-8 BOM semicolon CSV that opens straight in Excel, plus a printable HTML quote with customer/project/room fields, unit prices and VAT - print it to PDF from the browser.
  • Real mechanics instead of decoration: roller wrap radius from area conservation (R = sqrt(r0^2 + t*L/pi)), stacking that packs folds, slats and vanes rather than deleting them, zebra band shift, venetian ladder cords tracking slat angle, and sag on curved/bay track.
  • Every curtain is three named parts - Fabric / Mechanism / Hardware - on their own shared Tags, with repeated hardware emitted as reused component definitions. Batch mesh writes cut API calls per curtain 321-431x (Roman 206,459 to 643), so a 19-curtain model builds in about six seconds.

Shipped, and what is next.

Shipped

  • v2.2.1 clears the 2.2.0 load failure caused by an invalid PolygonMesh constant - 24 .rbz releases now shipped, 1.0.0 to 2.2.1
  • Curtain library grown to 19 systems across 5 families, every one of them verified in the real-SketchUp smoke test
  • Batch mesh rewrite: 321-431x fewer API calls per curtain, and Roman blind per-edge writes down from 101,972 to zero
  • Room-grouped quote export - Excel-ready CSV plus a printable HTML quote with customer fields, unit prices and VAT
  • Full trilingual pass: 449 keys identical in TR/EN/ES, down to the group, part and Tag names inside the model

Next

  • Motorised blind data in the take-off - tube motor sizing and power notes per roller
  • Direct PDF quote export, without the browser print step
  • Supplier fabric and hardware price lists feeding unit prices straight into the quote
