  • Nothing is scaled. Change a width, height, depth or section and every carcass panel, shelf, drawer box, door, back, plinth and crown is rebuilt from formulas, so thicknesses and joints never distort. One engine (build.ts) computes the parts and Ruby only draws them, so the browser app and the SketchUp extension produce the same wardrobe.
  • Push to model writes real solid geometry, grouped as Carcass, Shelves, Doors, Drawers, Back, Plinth-Crown-Filler and Hardware. Each part sits in its own subgroup named with its cut size (600x18x560) and each category lands on its own SketchUp tag.
  • Identical parts arrive as component instances and materials are shared by name: a 4 m, six-section wardrobe with shoe rack and LED comes in as 131 solids built from only 20 component definitions.
  • Update Selected regenerates the inside of a wardrobe already placed in the model, preserving its position, rotation and scale and leaving the camera where it is. Auto-update is available and off by default.
  • Six section types (hanging, full-height hanging, shelved, mixed, drawer, shoe rack) with the section count adapting automatically as width changes. Doors combine 5 opening types (left, right, up, sliding, none, double doors automatic) with 7 independent surface styles.
  • Plinth or 4-leg base across 8 foot models, crown with separate left/right/front overhang, 5 handle models, fillers, LED and 4 accessories (trouser rack, tie rack, basket, shoe rack), over 12 production finishes, 17 bundled textures and your own uploads with UV rotation and scale.
  • Quote engine covers sheet, edge banding, hardware, labour, margin and VAT against a per-user price book and your company details. The quote opens as HTML in the system browser, to print or save as PDF.
  • CNC output comes from the same build result: guillotine cut-optimisation with grain direction preserved, sheet layout visuals, a CSV cutting list, a CSV drilling schedule (hinge, hinge plate, shelf pin, dowel) and an R12 DXF (ENTITIES only - LINE, TEXT, circles for holes).
  • Turkish and English run all the way down to the Ruby side: window title, message boxes, status bar, undo step names, diagnostics, quote line items and CSV/DXF headers. The choice persists via Sketchup.write_default. 164 tests (86 TypeScript, 78 Ruby) plus a source scan that keeps the code inside Ruby 2.2 - which is what backs the 2017+ claim.
  • Diagnostics report in the Plugins menu shows the local server port, file count, requests served, bundle version, the last JS error and a window-to-ready timing breakdown that separates plugin time from SketchUp's own CEF startup (example: 1840 ms total, 412 ms to the plugin's first frame).
