  • Panel grid defaults to 1250 × 2500 mm modules with 12 mm joints on 4 mm ACM sheet - module size, joint and thickness are all editable in the panel.
  • Sub-construction defaults: 60 mm bracket depth, 800 mm bracket spacing, 50 × 40 mm carrier profile, 700 mm maximum profile span, 400 mm fastener spacing and 2 anchors per bracket.
  • Openings are read from the inner loops of the selected face and cut with a guillotine scheme - full-width strips above and below, side pieces beside - the way a fabrication shop actually cuts a sheet.
  • Adjacent faces chain automatically: the column offset is carried across the corner and rows stay locked to one global grid taken from the first face's bottom edge, so courses never step at a corner.
  • Two remainder modes - cut (full modules plus one cut piece) or distribute (all panels equalised, nothing cut) - with a minimum piece limit that suppresses slivers.
  • Everything is written as separate ComponentDefinitions on KS Panels / Profiles / Brackets / Screws tags, inside a single start_operation, so one Ctrl+Z removes the whole facade.
  • Take-off covers net m², order m² with a waste factor (10% by default), full vs cut panel counts, deducted opening m², profile metres and count, bracket and anchor counts, screw or clip counts, joint length and insulation boards - exported as semicolon CSV with a UTF-8 BOM and stored as JSON on the produced group.
  • Insulation layer (foam or rock wool, 50 mm, 1200 × 600 mm boards) sits on the wall face with its own board grid, material and visibility toggle, and is counted in the take-off.
  • Fixing is visible screws or concealed 4-edge clips, each with its own spacing and its own take-off line; 7 ACM colours (silver, metallic, anthracite, black, white, champagne, copper), two detail levels, and hidden elements are still counted in full.
  • Take-off, preview drawing and model geometry all come from one solve result produced by a pure-Ruby millimetre solver - 1352 automated tests across 4 suites, SketchUp 2021 enforced as the minimum before the extension registers, errors caught and streamed into a built-in console, settings kept as plain JSON in %APPDATA%/KompozitStudio.
