    The Wall Aims It.

It raytests the wall for direction, thickness and floor level. Seen from above, two corner clicks give it the same answer.

    Still Editable Tomorrow.

Click a door you placed and its settings return to the panel. Change a size, it rebuilds in place — the session is one Ctrl+Z.

    Real Parts, Not Boxes.

Stiles, rails, rebated frame, mitred architrave, beads, hinges, lock. In a 100-door project 3,964 parts share 119 definitions.

  • Catalogue: 63 door models in 5 categories - interior 18, exterior 11, sliding 11, special 11, fantasy 12 - including pocket sliding, pivot, folding, fire, emergency exit, hospital, acoustic, shop, glass and concealed-frame doors.
  • Placement: 1 / 2 / 3-click on the wall. One click centres the door at the size set in the panel, two clicks measure the width from the opening edges, three clicks measure the height as well; endpoint and midpoint snapping plus edge inference throughout.
  • Wall reading: direction, thickness and floor level are taken from the model by raytest, and the read is cached, so moving the mouse does not fire a new raytest on every frame.
  • Plan mode: when a vertical wall face cannot be picked from a top view, the tool switches to picking the two opening corners and derives wall direction, slab level and wall thickness itself.
  • Geometry: stiles, rails, a rebated frame with shims, mitred architraves, raised panels, glazing beads, louvres, hinges, lock, panic bar, door closer and kick plate are all modelled as real parametric parts - nothing in the assembly is a stand-in box.
  • Live editing: click a door you already placed and its settings load back into the panel; change a dimension and the door rebuilds in place instantly, with the whole editing session collapsing into a single Ctrl+Z as one transparent operation.
  • Component reuse: every part is a component instance and identical profiles share one definition across doors - a 100-door project's 3,964 parts collapse to 119 definitions (97% reuse). Definition names read as cut-list lines (e.g. "Kasa 100x30x2097"), and mesh batching cut SketchUp API calls from 1.00 to 0.20 per part.
  • Preview: front and top views drawn live in the panel from the same geometry that will be built, with the selected finish colour applied - what you approve is what lands in the model.
  • Materials and hardware: 13 finishes (10 wood/paint plus brushed steel, rust iron and bronze), 7 glass types with divided grids, 7 handle types, and mortise, concealed and patch hinges. Frequently used doors can be saved as named templates.
  • Language and diagnostics: Turkish, English and Spanish are fully translated across the UI, catalogue names, error messages, tooltips and the part/group/tag/material names written into the model; a built-in error console under the panel shows Ruby and UI errors with stack traces. 572 automated tests run green across 5 suites.
